The Austin office is located in the George H. W. Bush Building at 1801 Congress Avenue, Suite 11.800, Austin, Texas 78701. This facility is open to visitors. Upon arrival call (512) 936-2474 in order to inform TFSC staff that you have arrived and a staff member will come down to the lobby to meet you. You are welcome to stop in and visit with the staff. If you have questions and you are unable to stop by the office, you are welcome to email the staff your questions or you may call and speak directly with the office staff. TFSC PROPOSED AMENDMENTS TO ADMINISTRATIVE RULES
By law, the Commission may review its rules every four years. Since the last major rule review was completed in 2019, the agency will be reviewing its rules before Spring 2023 through a series of six stakeholder meetings.
DSHS FETAL DEATH REPORTING TRAINING
Starting on August 1, 2019, funeral establishments have the ability to report using the electronic system, TxEVER. Previously, this was a manual/paper process.
